A change also to the Date for the SSA 16's in Sydney - the Qld teams will depart on Saturday 15th August and return on Friday 21st August. This is the week after the Ekka Show week in Brisbane. The Letter of Intent has been updated to reflect this.

The Annual General Meeting that was held at Caloundra on Wednesday 20th April confirmed that Tim Wilson is Chair for 2009, Ron Mackay is Secretary for 2009 and Murray Bowman is Treasurer for 2009. Congratulations to these people on their successful applications.

Congratulations to the Met East Boys and the Met East Girls for their outstanding victories in the 15 Years tournament at Cairns last week. Both teams played high quality Volleyball and thoroughly deserved their Gold medals.

This site is designed for people interested in what is happening in School Volleyball in Queensland, Australia. Queensland Secondary Schools Volleyball is the representative body of all Queensland schools. Our aim is to provide the best volleyball and educational experiences for students in secondary schools. We do this through offering well-organised and supervised tournaments at the best possible cost we can provide.
Queensland Secondary Schools Volleyball is a sport specific sub-committee of Queensland School Sport.

SCHOOL SPORT AUSTRALIA 2008 - Gold for Qld!

It's GOLD for both the Queensland Boys and Girls in Adelaide for the U/16 Nationals. This is the boys 4th win in succession and hte Girls 5th in 6 years. A fantastic effort and deserved results for the quality of play from both teams.

TRANS-TASMAN SERIES.
Queensland again showed fantastic skill and quality to be victorious in both the boys and the girls. Queensland is the best in Australiasia!!!

15 & UNDER QUEENSLAND STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

These titles are to be held in Cairns on the last weekend in May,2009. Get to your zone and regional trials to be at this one!

OPEN QUEENSLAND STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

These titles are to be held in Caloundra from 23 to 26 April 2009. Time to start training and practising for this one!
